This year we won the judges award at the biggest regional competition and made iLEAD's first elimination round appearance (quarterfinals).
CAD Build
My work on the CAD model helped us win the judges award.
Senior Year
Coding
This years game is different and difficult to build around. We have spent a lot of time designing and redesigning to come up with a great solution. Due to this process the coding has taken a back burner until we can get the robot completely finished. I do have a finished driver control program that we can use to practice and some autonomous programs started that I can complete ounce the robot is completely finished.
Notebook
The Notebook was a great sucsess we hope to improve upon it next year and hopefully win the notebook award.
Coding
I created eight autonomous codes and a driver control program as well as some practice control programs. Our autonomous was a great success winning all but 2 times during our matches.

Robot
This year was a great success considering the setbacks. This year we switched over to the new V5 system which uses a new coding language, C++. Learning the new language was a great experience because I can apply that knowledge to computer and other robotic coding systems as I progress towards a career in robotics. Our new system arrived late which forced us to work over time to make an appearance in the 2019 season. We got up and running in a couple weeks and had a decent year, making iLEADs first appearance in the knockout rounds and winning the judges award for our notebook. For me personally the year was a successes, my autonomous codes dominated the matches and my CAD work and Notebook brought home awards. My leadership and ability to push through the setbacks and put the team on my back allowed us to compete. I hope to use the CAD and notebook skills in the next years game as well as in future robotics classrooms and hopefully as I build a career in robotics. This year was a personal success but next year I plan to surround myself with other motivated engineers and make a run at state.
